Government Polytechnic, Hangal: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Government Polytechnic, Hangal (GPH) is Polytechnic Institute of technical education situated at Malligar, Karnataka which was established in the year 2007. This affiliated college accepted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) currently provides diploma in number of engineering streams. Located on a five point thirty seven acres of land space, GPH has total admission capacity for students is two fifty eight and total numbers of working faculty is fifteen. Presently, the institute offers four Diploma Courses, each of Three Years duration namely, Computer Science and Engineering Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

Government Polytechnic has instituted several facilities within our school in an effort to provide the best environment for learning. Also, the institute has their library which ensures that they avail knowledge base as well as different materials for studying. Standard equipped laboratories present student with practical teaching and learning environment that enhance student skills and creativity in different technical areas of the fields. The cafeteria in the institution provides for the needs and requirements of the learners and staff by providing foods that will be taken. 

In total there are four diploma courses offered by the institute such as Diploma in civil engineering and Diploma in Mechanical engineering, and all of the courses are of full time nature. Each course has been approved to intact 60 students for each programme, making a total student intake of 240 students. These diploma courses give students breadth and depth of knowledge and skills in the chosen discipline of engineering that enables them to practice as professional engineers, engage in advanced learning, or undertake applied research in the engineering discipline upon graduation.

The admission procedure of Government Polytechnic, Hangal is made very clear and uncomplicated for everyone. As for the process of admission it is not described in details still the fact remains that usually polytechnic institutes base their decision on the result of 10th standard examinations or it’s equivalent. The admission procedure, and therefore prospective students, who fulfil the mentioned requirements, are welcome to register. The institute may have the admission schedule of DTE, Karnataka because this body works to coordinate the admission process of polytechnics in Karnataka.
