Government Polytechnic, Hazaribag, is a statutory technical university established in Silwar Khurd, Hazaribag district, Jharkhand state. Recognized as an affiliated college, it has earned reputation of the institute offering quality technical education. The technical degrees offered at the institute are recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education which sets standards. 

The Government Polytechnic at Hazaribag has divided its programs into four diploma courses which are available in different branches of engineering.
