Government Polytechnic Himmatnagar is a premier diploma institute situated in the state of Gujarat. The college is located in the Sabarkantha district of Gujarat. Sabarkantha is a tribal dominated district and the college aims to help the growing ceramic industries and dairy business with well trained professionals. The college offers three year diploma courses in various fields. The institute has nine different departments that impart academic knowledge in different specialisations.
Government Polytechnic Himmatnagar has a wifi-enabled campus equipped with a 200 Mbps line. The college has a Physics laboratory that can be used by all branches to understand basic principles of Physics. There are many laboratories at the college dedicated to niche specializations. Apart from the laboratories, the college also has different workshops to give candidates hands-on experience about their diploma specialization.
