Government Polytechnic, Kalgi (GP Kalgi) is a Government run technical college situated in Kalburgi, Karnataka which started in the year 2009. This affiliated college established by the government of Andhra Pradesh and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), aims and provides quality education in different faculties of engineering and technology. Located at a larger area of 5 acres, GP Kalgi has the total intake capacity of students 325 and has a faculty of 20 members. These include four diploma sections in engineering disciplines in which varyng interest of technician and engineers is focused on.

To add to the above points, GP Kalgi.offer state of the art facilities in an effort to compliment the learning processes of the students it is supposed to impart knowledge to.
