Government Polytechnic, Kanker Scholarship

The following two scholarships schemes are being offered to the diploma students. 

  1. Tuition fee waiver scheme: The scheme would be applicable as per the guidelines of AICTE/UGC/University. The aim of this scheme is to provide incentive to financially weak but meritorious students by waiving off the tuition fee as per the merit of the students. Scheme shall be applicable to degree and diploma programmes. For this the income of the parents/guardians from all sources in the last financial year shall be equal to/less than ₹8 Lakh. It is mandatory to submit the income certificate in the prescribed format. The entire process of sanctioning the Tuition Fee Waiver scheme has to be done by the institutes. There is no need to send the proposal to the Directorate. The amount of tuition fee depicted by the students at the time of admission in the first year will be refunded by the institution to the students and the second semester fees will not be charged. Fee waiver once approved shall be applicable for the entire duration of the course. Only tuition fee shall be waived under TFW scheme, but other fees of the institution shall be payable. The students who got approved for TFW scheme, if they have eligibility, will also be eligible for their scholarship.

  2. PM Care for Children Scheme: This scheme is available for applicants who lost both parents during the covid pandemic. Such applicants who are issued ‘PM CARES Certificate’ shall be eligible for admission in Polytechnic institutions under supernumerary quota. There shall be two supernumerary seats per course per institute.
