About Government Polytechnic, Karwar
Government Polytechnic Karwar (GPT Karwar) was established in the year 1959. It is one of the oldest polytechnics in the state. The college is approved by All India Council of Training and Education (AICTE) and affiliated to the Directorate of Technical Education Bangalore. The list of GPT Karwar courses include diploma in engineering courses in the branches of electrical and electronics engineering, commercial practice, mechanical engineering, computer science engineering, automobile engineering, and civil engineering. Each of these courses has an intake of 60 seats.
