Government Polytechnic, Kashipur (GPK) was established in 1975 as one of the most efficient institutes in Uttarakhand. Kashipur Polytechnic is affiliated with Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee. Students are selected for Kashipur Govt. Polytechnic through counselling based on their JEEP rank. Government Polytechnic Kashipur offers various diploma courses in engineering and technology, such as Computer Science, Agricultural Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and many more.
The GP Kashipur eligibility criteria require that candidates must have passed the 10th standard or equivalent examination with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects. GP Kashipur admissions are based on the merit and rank obtained by the candidates in JEEP. The candidates have to participate in the online counselling process and choose Government Poly Kashipur as their preferred institute.
GP Kashipur also offers lateral entry admission to the second year of diploma courses for candidates who have passed 10+2 with vocational or ITI subjects.
