Polytechnic College, Koratla which was started in the year 2008 is affiliated college located at Karimnagar district of Telangana. One of the AICTE approved university and is committed to offer quality technical education to those who wants to become an engineer. Stretching over peculiar 8.2 acres of the land, the polytechnic is equipped with all necessary conditions for effective and successful students’ learning. 

The institute takes a total of 220 students and has a faculty of 12 members so that every student can be properly guided. Established in the year 1996 Government Polytechnic, Koratla currently offers two diploma programmes in core engineering branches to cater the need of techno-mannered technicians as a result of rising industries all around the globe.

Studies in the institute are undertaken in a variety of learning facilities intended to improve the learning process of the students. Clevel library is a total resource centre comprising a vast inventory of books, journals, and electronic materials. As for practical skills development, the polytechnic has the department laboratories where students are able to use the received knowledge practically. 

This college also has priority to the health of his students by having a health center with first aid amenities. For the purpose of creating a healthy atmosphere, there are sport facilities for students, which as a result make the students active Physically as well as promote the aspect of teamwork. Also, the institute has procured state of the art IT facilities so that the students could well be aware about the advancements in the technological fields of their interest.

Government Polytechnic, Koratla currently offers two full-time diploma programs: There are two courses being offered namely the Diploma in Civil Engineering and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Both programs take three years to complete andụn have an approved student capacity of 60 students each, giving a total of 120 student opportunities. These course will equip the respective students with a good foundation to enable them have a fruitful career in the engineering discipline. The offered core engineering disciplines proof the institutes intention to meet the industrial demands of the concerned region and beyond.

Admission process of Government Polytechnic, Koratla has evolved with easy principles for the aspiring students in order to take admissions in the newly constructed college. As for the detailed examinations, it is unclear, but it is believed that it matches the admission rules of governmental polytechnics in Telangana.
