Government Polytechnic, Kotabagh, was established in the year 2003 at Kotabagh Nainital, Uttarakhand. The college is affiliated to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE); this college offers diploma programs in various engineering disciplines. The institute is located on a compact 5.025-acre campus with a total student enrolment of 111 and a faculty strength of 6 at present. Government Polytechnic, Kotabagh offers two diploma courses: Computer Science and Engineering, and Electronics Engineering.
