Government Polytechnic Nirmal, Adilabad: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Government Polytechnic Nirmal, Adilabad was set up in the year 2008 in the state of Telangana, INDIA. This institute is recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the need of providing technical education built in 4.1 acres of land. With a total number of student enrolment of 302 and faculty of 9, the college has a restricted intake of students. There is, at the moment, only two diploma courses which present the institute as a specialised technical institution offering courses in Mechanical Engineering as well as Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

The Government Polytechnic  has been established to have several structures to support the learning process of the learners. It is often a key reference point where learners turn to for different educational related materials. In order to enhance the practical applicability of the technical courses, the institute has provided departmental Laboratories to provide practical exposures in the terminologies. For instance in the present day world of technological development the college has availed a Computer Lab where student sharpen themselves in various important aspects in IT.

The college offers two three-year full time diploma courses for the students The college namely as Government Polytechnic Nirmal located at Adilabad. There are seats for 60 students in the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and the Diploma Electrical and Electronics Engineering each hence, 120 full admissions per year. In line with credit accumulation, both teaching courses enable students to obtain a strong footing in respective subject areas to fit different emerging technical worlds. The total cost of these programs is quite nominal, as the annual fees of 6300 rupees make technical education within the reach of more students.

The admissions to the Government Polytechnic Nirmal, Adilabad are equally easy for all candidates. Although the details of the exam are not given it is usual for the polytechnic institutes in offering admissions to consider the scores of the state level entrance examinations. This has also been made clear by the fees structure of the college where several students can easily afford their fees charges.
