The Government Polytechnic, Quansi is an affiliated college situated in Dehradun. The institute is engaged in offering diploma courses in engineering and has been recognized by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Degree-wise Admission Process

Diploma in Electrical Engineering: A course with an intake of 30 students approved. The process of admission will select candidates who have a strong foundation in mathematics and science subjects particularly physics. Candidates should have completed their 10+2 level science education.

Diploma in Civil Engineering: This course has been approved for an intake of 30 students, just like Electrical Engineering. The admission process would evaluate the mathematics and science subjects in which the candidate excelled during their 10+2 education.

Both the diploma programs are three-year full-time courses. The institute, through certain hours of training, will give adequate exposure in terms of hands-on work and practical comparison of the theoretical aspects of the syllabus, particularly in the area of Electrical Engineering, where discipline biomechanics laboratories are maintained.
