Government Polytechnic, Rayachoti started in 2009, is an affiliated college situated in Rayachoti of Andhra Pradesh, India. Located in Masapeta, Rayachoty near the Ring Road, this institute occupies ten point zero three acres of land. It is recognised AICTE ( All India Council for Technical Education) which means we impart technical education touching the parameters of standard of education. It enrols a total of 263 students in all courses of study while its faculty comprises of 17 staffs hence the institute has a good student- facult y ratio.

An efficient teaching library is equipped for knowledge purposes to support student’s educational and research works. Overall, all kinds of laboratories necessary for different departments of the college are located in the college, where students can practice and obtain essential professional experience and knowledge. A good IT support system enables learners stay informed of the prevailing technology techniques. For comprehensive development, sport related amenities are provided to the students of the institute for better health and group enthusiasm. A hall is also available in the camp for occasion, seminars and cultural performances to enhance students’ quality lifestyle. Government Polytechnic also contains a cafeteria, which will enable learners as well as other members of the college staff to take a break and converse. 

Government Polytechnic, Rayachoti now offers two full-time diploma programmes both of which take three academic years. The Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering and the Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering are offered by the institute. These courses are intended to provide students with the technical competencies that, including experience within their area of specialisation, can enhance them to propel in their careers within the growing technology industry.
