About Government Polytechnic, Sahaswan
Government Polytechnic, Sahaswan was started in 2018 and is a Government technical college situated at Budaun, Uttar Pradesh. This affiliated college AICTE approved provides degrees and diploma courses in different field of engineering and technology. Located in a 7 acre land space, the choice of area enables patient and quality acquisition in technical education. Based on this philosophy of learning, Government Polytechnic, Sahaswan today offers only three full time diploma courses that span three years each. The institute however young has strong vision providing quality technical education to the young engineering minds.
It has instituted a number of infrastructures with the aim of making the learning environment of its students more fulfilling. The I.T Infrastructure has more than 60 computers in the computer centre including internet connection, networking amenities and sophisticated audiovisual facilities. Government Polytechnic has nearly 3,500 books of various technical aspects The library has a book bank facility for needed students. A virtual classroom using essential learning technologies helps learners to interactively learn while in class. For physical development the college has a fully equipped sports department that sponsors different activities both indoor and outdoor for the whole year. Different conveniences such as hostel facilities for the out station students deemed available to both boys as well as girls.
Government Polytechnic, Sahaswan currently offers three diploma programmes: Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering as well as Textile Engineering. Every one of these courses is a full-time course which has a length of three years and the annual intake capacity is 60 students, so in all there are 180 seats in all the programmes offered.
