Government Rehabilitation Institute for Intellectual Disabilities (GRIID), Chandigarh, is a specialized education institute with specialization in the field of intellectual disabilities. Degree wise Admission Process

D.Ed Special Education Intellectual Disability: The intake for this diploma course is 30 seats. The course fee is Rs 89,100. Those interested in pursuing this course must have a solid background in basic education and an interest in teaching individuals with intellectual disabilities.

B.Ed Special Education Intellectual Disability: The B.Ed course also has an intake of 30 seats. This course is for graduates who want to specialize in teaching intellectually disabled students. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in a related field.

M.Ed Special Education Mental Retardation: This course offers a low entry of only 10 seats and is extremely competitive. This program is apt for candidates with their B.Ed in Special Education or a relevant background who aspire to study further at the master's level for mental retardation.
