Government Sanjay Gandhi Smriti Post Graduate College, Ganj Basoda: A lamp of light of higher education in Madhya Pradesh established in the year 1964. It is a co-educational institution located in Vidisha district currently providing its services for almost the last six decades. It is affiliated college with an area of 11.556 acres and is NAAC accredited. The college admitted 1,916 students for several courses and has a faculty of 17 members, the college is offering 14 courses under four basic and diverse degree programmes fulfilling the students’ various goals and aspirations.

Taking our focus into college, there are very many facilities available in the college which will improve the general learning of students. Modern library is designed to provide student with comprehensive information resources while the schools are equipped with up to date facilities. Self-directed learners can get access to learning at the college level by visiting the different departmental laboratories available. It also views the aspect of playful and healthy activities and provides sports and gym for students where they can take their necessary body exercise. 

At present, the college also fulfills the requirements of modern education by offering multiple computer facilities and having Wi-Fi connectivity in the college campus. The campus also has an auditorium for occasions and seminars to support the active academic and cultural life on the campus.

Government SSGPC has a broad spectrum of UNDERTAKEN universities for under graduate and post graduate. It offers 14 courses such as full-time arts and science programmes. The postgraduate courses are also varying with MA in Economics, English, Hindi, Sanskrit and Sociologies and M.Sc in Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Zoology. Most of these postgraduate courses actually enrols 20-30 students at a time for the course.
