Shakambhar PG College Sambhar Lake is an affiliated college which was established in 1969 in Rajasthan, India. Located over a 73.9 acre campus, the institution offers twelve courses under six degrees, for 2,832 students. With a faculty strength of 35, the college maintains a student-teacher ratio of 81:1. NAAC accredited institution and has the specialty in Arts, Commerce and Science. Regarding the gender ratio, Government Shakambhar PG College has equally a good number of female students participating with (undergraduate programmes – 58 %, post Graduate programmes– 62%).

Total enrolment of students for all course offerings is 2,520; 2,380 of whom are pursuing undergraduate programmes while 452 are pursuing postgraduate programmes. The great variety of programmes offered by this school enables learners to explore different fields of knowledge.

Admission policy in our college is that the college must be accessible to all talents and the admission must also be merit based.
