Government Teachers Training College, Malda, came into existence in the year 1964 situated at English Bazar, Malda, West Bengal. This co-educational college is an affiliated college with recognition from NCTE. The campus is spread over an area of 4.09 acres with a conducive atmosphere to study and learn. With an enrolment of 89 students and 9 faculty members. It offers a single degree course in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), which speaks to its whole-hearted commitment towards teacher education.

The college has an array of infrastructural facilities that would enrich the learning processes of students. The library, stocking around 11,000 books, would serve as the knowledge center for the budding teachers. There are available six well-equipped laboratories for all subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Language, and Computer & ICT.
