The Government Tool Room and Training Centre (GTTC) was established in 1972 at Bangalore as technical institution. This affiliated college situated in Rajaji Nagar Industrial Estate has been imparting technical education for more than fifty years. The institute is a small campus having area of 2.66 acres, which is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to offer quality education in tool engineering. As for now, GTTC Bangalore is privileged to have only 10 students enrolled with the institution that is backed by 4 members of the faculty. The institute has a concentrated programme with the single postgraduate programme showing the institute’s directness in tool engineering education.
The institution known as GTTC Bangalore aims at availing all round training sessions to its learners. There are number of amenities in the campus to facilitate academic as well as the personal growth of the students. This programme has an approved capacity of 18 students even though the institute has the capacity to take a larger number, the intake is kept small to enable the institute maintain a good student – faculty ratio that is essential to offer quality education.
