The present Government Vrinda Sahay PG College, Dabra was established in the year 1963 at Dabra, District – Datia, Madhya Pradesh. This affiliated college is located on a vast campus area of 25.6 acres and it has an offer a broad spectrum of 14 programmes in 6 degrees. The college is affiliated with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council NAAC, therefore, emphasising on quality provision of education. The faculty is comprised of 16 committed professors, and the college offers a balance of liberal arts and science with a liberal-arts focus comprising it; the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered are a mix of conventional and modern courses.

The college has many impressive facilities which are used to complement the learning process in one way or the other. It has accommodatable science practical laboratories that is endowed with sophisticated equipment to meet the practical aspect of science students. Government Vrinda Sahay PG College has a total of 14 courses to offer it’s students, 9 of them are undergraduate courses and the rest 5 are postgraduate courses. University completes full time courses in number of disciplines to meet the educational needs of society. As among the undergraduate programs there are B.A., B.Com, and B.Sc with the different fields of study. At the postgraduate level the college offers master of science in mathematics as well as master of arts in sociology, political science, history, Hindi, geography and economics. The college has a good augmentation power of students every year with 320 for B.A, 120 for B.Com, 100 for B.Sc in Botany, Chemistry and zoology etc.
