Geography, Government Women Polytechnic College, Ajmer was established in 1988 to impart Technical Education to the Girls. This affiliated college is situated at Makhupura, Ajmer, Rajasthan which is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). At present, it has six diploma courses, which are offered to 174 students, and is managed by 21 faculty members. Following sectors include Costume Design, Electronic Engineering, Beauty Culture, Robotics Engineering and so on With the help of technical education and skill making the college focuses on women’s enlightenment.

The college possesses numerous resources that provide additional and improved learning facilities for its students. As a central part of the institution is the school library that contains a large number of books, magazines, newspapers, and journals. For the students who study from other distant places, the college offers accommodation for 53 students in a host within the college compound, and surrounded by hilly vegetation. Besides, the institute offers standard laboratory facilities to offer practical sessions as well as a good standard of Information Technology (IT) facility to run parallel to the growing trend in technology. For the purpose of maintaining body health, the college provides amenities for sports and a gym. The institution also provides health services through a health center that has first aid services to the students.
