Government Women’s Polytechnic, Bokaro was established in 1986. It is affiliated to the Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi. GWP Bokaro is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It offers a total of 3 courses in Engineering and Architecture streams. The GWP Bokaro courses are offered by the Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi. The distance between the campus and the Bokaro Steel City railway station is 2.9 kms. Candidates can also travel in local public transport buses to the campus.
