Govindram Seksaria Science College, Belgaum (GSSC) is the leading college which was started in 1966. This affiliated college chariot is situated in Tilakwadi, Belagavi, Karnataka, in an area of 32 acres of land. Recognised by NAAC, GSSC today is known for its wide spectrum of Science and Computer applications Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses. The college offers education to a total of 1,559 students and recognised that 51% of the students are female. GSSC is a well reputed institute having 52 dedicated faculty members offering 4 courses in 3 degree programme in specialised area like Organic Chemistry, Botany and Computer Applications etc.

The college has an affluent library building constructed in an area of over 1,216 square meters and can comfortably accommodate more than 300 students at a time. It offers bibliography of books and periodicals, e-resources, and offers 25 computers for students’ hands-on usage. There is a professionally equipped multi-speciality gym on the territory of the campus, including weights and personal trainers.

At present, Govindram Seksaria Science College provides a total of 4 courses from which all the courses are full time. These are 2 undergraduate programmes namely B.Sc and BCA and 2 post graduate programmes namely M.Sc Organic Chemistry and M.Sc Botany.
