The Greater College of Education for Women, Hyderabad was established in the year, 2015 and it located in the State of Telangana is a pioneer institution in teacher training college. This is a co-educational institution with 1-acre campus approved as an affiliated college by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Currently, the college has 172 student population, and it has staffed by 17 members of faculty which makes it a perfect ground for nurturing educators. It currently offers only one programme, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) specialising in training teachers.

The tuition of Greater College of Education is single – Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. This is a full-time course of two years’ duration, for the teaching of students at the secondary level. For this programme, the college has an approved capacity of one hundred with intent of providing a proper student instructor ratio.

The admission process to the B.Ed programme at Greater College of Education follows the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test- TS EdCET. This entrance exam is being organised every year by the Osmania University for the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).
