GS College of Commerce and Economics, Nagpur, was established in the year 1945. It is one of the leading autonomous colleges in the heart of Nagpur, Maharashtra. The college spreads over 6 acres and has been graded 'A' by NAAC. It offers multiple programs in commerce and management at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Presently, 2,086 students are enroled, with a faculty strength of 16. The environment here is very conducive for academic excellence.

GS College of Commerce and Economics offers ample number of programs catering to almost all the avenues of commerce and management. It offers 10 courses, that too both at the undergraduate as well as postgraduate level. These include full-time courses such as B.Com, B.Com (Hons), BBA, and MBA Self Finance, as well as focused courses in the form of B.Com in Finance and Accounts, and B.Com in Computer Applications. The college also conducts M.Com programs in English, Hindi, and Marathi media, showing that it lives up to inclusive education.

About GS College of Commerce and Economics, the admission procedure is thoroughly fair and transparent. Relatively few specific entrance examinations are specified in most of the courses, except for MAH MBA CET scores for MBA. Admissions are generally done on the basis of academic merit and the credits deemed adequate for the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
