Gs college of Education,Shikohabad was established in 2009.it is an affiliated college situated in Firozabad,U.P. This co-educational institution is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and Current institution offers specialization in the field of education only. The college occupies a squared area of 0.92 acres and is currently accommodating 227 students and has 16 faculty members. GS College of Education has two degree programs: teacher education and elementary education. This is evident in aspects such as infrastructure, class sizes, tutors’ attitude towards-facilitating student needs and so on.

It has a number of resources that help to develop and facilitate the process of learning among college students. There is a centrally located first line library with 17,000 sq. ft space, equipped with 6,500 books to support academic learning. The institution also has a modern computer laboratory with all the modern technology of information ages to enhance awareness of students on the new techniques of tackling their lessons. GS College of Education offers two full-time courses: The minimum qualifications required for the teaching posts in primary and upper primary are Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed.). Since these programs are available at colleges and universities, they aim at producing professionals in teaching and educational management. The B.Ed program is opened with hundred seats while the number of seats for D.El.Ed is not declared. This course takes two years to complete offering sound understanding of the theories and practice in Education. The total number of intakes per course is 227, of which 227 is the current enrollment signifying that all the places are adequately filled.
