GS Patil Arts and Commerce College, Kundgol, is an affiliated college situated in the district of Dharwad Karnataka and was established in the year 1986. Situated over an area of 2.22 acres, this institution has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college offers three undergraduate programmes such as  B.Com, BA, and B.Sc, that are full courses. The current enrolment of student population is 183 while the faculty strength is 9 in total, thus the college keeps the academics intimate. The quality of education in the institution is proved by a great number of courses and up-to-date infrastructures.

S Patil Arts and Commerce College has made availabilities of various facilities that aimed at improving the students’ performance. In the core of these is a computerised library equipped with the relevant tools and resources and comprising of 13,388 books within various areas of specialisation. They also offer internet browsing and INFLIBNET where students and faculty of the college can browse more than six thousand, five hundred e-journals and nine thousand magazines. For recreation and sports, there is ample provision in the form of facility for athletics, yoga, mallakamba, volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, cricket, tennis and having gym. A computerised laboratory equipped with Internet connection and a language laboratory are also available in the college. There is a provision for an auditorium used for functions and seminars which are essential in institutions. A medical centre guarantees timely health check-ups as well as awareness programmes in the institution.

GS Patil Arts and Commerce College offers three undergraduate programmes, B.Com, BA, and B.Sc. All these programmes are full time; each of them takes three years to complete.
