GT Institute of Management Studies and Research (GTIMSR), was started in the year 2009 and is situated at Bangalore, Karnataka. This co-educational institute, situated in over five acres of area, is an affiliated college recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education. GTIMSR provides for five distinct kinds of 5 programmes within 5 degree that it delivers to 799 total students. The institute has a strength of 18 dedicated professionals as members of its faculty, the student teacher ratio is satisfactory.

The institute provides a number of facilities that are both contemporary and orientated towards improving the learning feedback of the students. GTIMSR provides course that covers full time programme that includes undergraduates and postgraduate level. The institutes academic portfolio contains 5 courses. There are 120 seats for MBA , the new Master of Computer Applications [MCA] programme only provides 60 seats. Other courses offered are BCA, B.Com, & M.Com.

For the MBA programme,  the Institute accepts scores of the well-known management aptitude tests namely the Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) and the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (Karnataka PGCET).
