GTP College of Education for Women, Bhimavaram (Established in 1984) is a concern to protect the future of womenhood in education. The affiliated college is at West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. The institute had been coaching aspirant teachers since about nearly four decades back. The National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi, has approved the institute, and various educational programs are conducted within a 5.3-acre campus. GTP College serves the purpose of intensive and personalized studying, with a total enrollment of 121 students and 8 faculty members.

College facilities, at GTP College of Education for Women have been especially planned for facilitating the enhancement of learning of its students. The institution is ably provided with a good library with more than 4,000 volumes, many reference books, and 22 journals of education, making it a prime source for research and studies. The two-storey library building has separate reading rooms for B.Ed., M.Ed., and D.Ed. students. The concern of the college towards the all-round development of the students is reflected in the sports facilities available, comprising a spacious playground for outdoor games such as Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, and Volleyball besides indoor games equipment. A computer lab with 30 LAN connected computers and internet connectivity is provided to facilitate technology driven learning. Subject-wise laboratories have been provided in the campus with instructional materials for methodology subjects like Physical Science, Mathematics and Biological Science besides student-prepared models. 

The GTP College of Education for Women conducts three full-time courses related to teacher education, which include B.Ed., M.Ed., and D.Ed, with an approved intake of 50 each, totalling 150 in all.

The admission to G.T.P. College of Education for Women is predominantly done at the state-wide counseling. The admission to B.Ed. and M.Ed. is also based on rank in Ed.CET (Common Entrance Test). In addition to that, the college has a 25% management quota for these courses which brings other scopes to the students who wish to pursue them. In the case of D.Ed., the intake is also based on Ed. The rank of CET through state-wide counseling again with 25 percent management quota. This structured admission process ensures a proper channel through which meritorious candidates can get an opportunity to meet their educational aims and objectives at the institute.
