Gudiyattam Polytechnic College, started in the year 2008, is affiliated with the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai and is situated in Gudiyatham. This AICTE recognised polytechnic provides opportunities for diploma courses in engineering fields. Located in a 6.52 acre area, this college takes a total student enrolment in 288 and the faculty is 51 in number. Addressing the technical education domain, Gudiyattam Polytechnic College offers five full-time diploma courses in different branches of engineering creations hence preparing technicians and engineers students of different train.

They are Diploma in Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Civil, and Computer Engineering.
