Guntupalli Venkateswarlu Memorial Polytechnic was established in the year 2009 as an affiliated college located in the Nagulapalem Village, Parchur Mandal, Prakasam District in the state of Andhra Pradesh. GVMP sprawls over a vast area of 6.24 acres, offering a congenial atmosphere for studies and overall personality development. The college currently provides education by offering five diploma courses to cater to the practical training and theoretical requirements of the students amid the changing conditions and demands of technology. 

At GVMP, students enjoy numerous facilities that make the learning experience easy. The college also offers separate hostel facilities to boys and girls hence a good stay for the students that come from far-off areas. It has a well-stocked library with more than 6,125 volumes and 1,167 titles, and subscriptions to 15 national and 1 international journal. It can accommodate 200 students at one time and is open from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30p.m. The college has different sporting facilities that support the development of physical fitness and team spirit for those who love sports. The campus also accommodates a fully air-conditioned computer lab well-equipped with the latest Pentium computers and LCD monitors through which software packages are made available to students to satisfy the requirements of their respective courses. 

In fact, the institute boasts a total of five full-time diploma programmes, all three-year courses. Among these are the Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Computer Engineering, Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. These programs have been established to impart a very strong aspect of foundation in every student toward their career in the engineering sector.
