Guru Mishri Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Shelgaon, a homeopathic learning and health institution, was incorporated in the year 2008. The under graduate, post graduate, doctorate courses are made available for students. The institution guides the aspiring candidates to opt for the student who is eligible according to guidelines issued by respective authorities. Normal admission to the course shall include entrance exams. With that granted, undergrads have the qualification of clearance in NEET, therefore, PG admissions are to be made according to the merit gained through the PG NEET entrance examinations too. The candidate for undergraduate programs must have 10+2 with all compulsory subjects, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The minimum mark aggregate in a qualifying examination to be eligible would be 50%. For postgraduates, an applicant must have completed a BHMS from a recognized university.

Degree wise Admission Process
BHMS: Guru Mishri College offers a 100-student BHMS programme. The admission of the student is purely done on merit score obtained by the student in his NEET exams. Seats of the college exist under both government quota and Management quota.
MD Courses: MD Courses at Guru Mishri comprises specializations such as Organon of Medicine, Homeopathy Materia Medica, Practice of Medicine, Repertory, Homoeopathic Pharmacy, and Paediatrics. All the courses except for Paediatrics have 9 seats while the latter has 6 seats. Admission is based on NEET PG score. Students who qualify for management are interviewed at the college.
Ph.D. Programs: Doctoral programs in Repertory (6 seats), Pharmacy (3 seats), Organon of Medicine (3 seats), Homeopathy Materia Medica (3 seats), and Paediatrics (3 seats) are available, which are taken on the basis of PET exam.
