Guru Nanak College for Girls, Sri Muktsar Sahib started in 1970 is a private women’s college in the state of Punjab, India. Located on a vast land of 14. 8 acres the college has been helping young generations for over half a century. NAAC accredited college affiliated to the University of Mysore this college comprises 29 courses spread over 12 degree programmes. All in all there are 1,686 students enrolled in different classes in this college besides which 93 teachers are available having a proper proportion of student teachers . It has a good number of female students with 1,258 female students and 290 male students, thus being an institute that welcome student from all gender.

Guru Nanak College for Girls, Sri Muktsar Sahib has equipped itself with many contemporary amenities to help meet the needs of the learners. This institution was established in 1970 with the physical facilities being developed as a learning resource center in Arts, Science and Commerce streams. The college is equipped with four computer-aided learning centres in terms of internet bandwidth with 15 Mbps in order to equip the students with core computer facilities. For the ardent sports lovers, the college also has the provision of good furlongs such as eight-lane athletic track, baseball and softball fields, a newly developed Mai Bhago Stadium as well as a modern gymnasium.

The top course offered by the colleges are BBA, B.Com, BA, BCA, B.Sc in different streams, M.Sc, M.Com, and MA. Also, there are postgraduate diploma courses which includes; PGDCA and PGD in Fashion Designing.
