Guru Nanak Dev DSEU Rohini Campus is famous technical college which was earlier known as Guru Nanak Dev Institute of Technology (GNDIT) at Rohini Sector 15 Delhi. Teaching started in 1995 by Department of Technical Education, Government of Delhi this institute is in the field of technical education for almost three decades. Located in a single close-knit 4 acre setting GNDIT has much to offer and deliver such as diplomas undergraduate as well as postgraduate programmes in numerous faculties of engineering. The institute is affiliated to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which makes the education imparted in the institute standards and mature education, matching with industry standards.

There is learning infrastructure and features in the campus that offers best of opportunities to the learners. This institute has a rich library hall which is far from just a storage of books and has developed a sense of responsibility among students as well as encourages them to seek knowledge and trends. Regarding sporting recreational activities GNDIT has available both indoor sporting activities centre and an open air gym for those interested in sporting activities. Technological responsibility is apparent in the institute with ICT enabled infrastructure for teaching learning process and smart class that provides an opportunity for students to be ICT literate. Also, the campus has scientific laboratories for the accommodation of the classroom needs of the different diploma and vocational courses, with equipments as well as internet facilities that meet the practical areas of the respective courses.

For its total of 9 offered courses, Guru Nanak Dev DSEU, Rohini Campus has three degree levels. The course offered at the institute include 6 diploma courses, 2 degree courses and 1 post graduate course. These diploma programs are offered with the offer of different engineering fields as Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Polymer Technology. At undergraduate level institute offering B.Voc course in Software Development and Mobile Communication. For a postgraduate course, there is M.Voc Software Development offered to students. Most of the diploma courses actually enroll many students with each of the diploma programs accommodating one hundred and five students and the Diploma in Polymer Technology accommodating the highest number of students of one hundred and twenty.

The criteria for admission at Guru Nanak Dev DSEU, Rohini Campus also differ from one program to the other. For the diploma courses the admission process includes Common Entrance Test, CET Delhi. This entrance exam is the only opportunity that aspiring students have to be considered for admission into the institute’s engineering diploma courses. The B.Voc courses on the other hand have a different modality of selecting candidates through marks obtained in class XII examination. Whereas for the M.Voc programme the candidate will be selected on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate in qualifying degree/ Graduation. Along with the accreditation the institute has its diploma courses affiliated to the State Board of Technical Education Delhi (BTE) and vocational courses with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi.
