Guru Nanak Institute of Technology Ibrahimpatnam is a private engineering institution established in 2008 by the Guru Nanak Education Society. GNIT Ibrahimpatnam UG and PG admissions are done through an online counselling process conducted by the Convener. The Guru Nanak Institute of Technology is approved by AICTE and Government of Telangana and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

A few courses offered at the Guru Nanak Institute of Technology  include B.E./B.Tech, MBA, and M.E./M.Tech. The B.Tech admission is based on the rank obtained in TS EAMCET entrance examination conducted by the Government of Telangana.
