Hey,
College is pretty good in terms of faculty, academics and extra curricula activities as well.College brings up many companies for placements. Amongst then Capgimini, Cognizant are the main placement providing companies. Almost 65% of students are placed with an average salary package of 2.5 LPA. Companies like Genpact, Marble Box, Mount Blue, EaseMy Trip, KGS Technology, MuSigma, Regalix, visited our college for placements
After being an autonomous institute the overall fee structure sums up to 4.05 lacks rupees divided into 8 semisters of an average of 40,000 rupees to 50,000 rupees per semester whoch is quite affordable.
Hope this helps.
Hii,If you are joining in a college by looking only at the placement count in that year then your first step went wrong because who knows the situation after 4 years(at the time of completion of btech). No one can tell what happens next year, so dont depend only on placements see all the factors that matters like staff, curricular or technical stuff, extracurricular activities, clubs, events, ratings and most important is alumina.
Just grow as much as you can in 4 years, you will be for sure in a better position than others. In my view CBIT is the best among the 3 colleges.
Hello Marri,
Among these 3 colleges i would suggest you to join into into mrec college as it has better faculty members, good academics, excellent campus life and also decent placements. From pas it has got a huge name in the college field also
I hope you will find my answer helpful.
All the best
Hello candidate. As you mentioned that you got admission in Gurunanak Institute of Technology (GNIT), yes the college is good in all the aspects. The college has good infrastructure and facilities. The faculty here are well experienced. I think you can get better colleges for your rank and category than GNIT. If possible go for second counselling.
Hi Goulikar,
GNIT, Ibrahimpatnam is a good college but you can definitely get a better college in the Final Phase of counseling.
Looking at TS EAMCET 2018 (Final Phase) cutoff ranks for BC-D category candidates, you can get the CSE branch in the following colleges along with their 2018 cutoffs-
1. KITS, Warangal
2. BV Raju Institute of Technology
3. Vardhaman College of Engineering
4. Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology
Hope this helps you.
All the best!!!
Hello aspirant!
To be honest, you have already selected every college that you might have a possibility to get in as per your choices. Well I think you might get MIT Moradabad or Rammurti Smarak Bareily. These colleges seem to have the most chances. I hope this information was helpful!
I wish you all the very best!
Hii,I’ll be giving a brief on how GNIT provides you with basic things an engineering college should provide.
TEACHING STAFF :- Most of the professors here are not experienced , they’ll not provide you with enough knowledge to get a good job instead they’ll make you memorize the whole textbook so you score good marks . The teachers with good experience and knowledge , who do not gel up with the head of the department (HOD) are replaced by amateur teachers who will put up a grudge against you for asking too many doubts .But some professors are really good who would go to any extent to provide you with information you need (only a few )
LABS :- Labs are well equipped , but the machines you practice on are pretty old
HOD:- Yeah , the head of the department , the one who we all look up to , but not here . The hod’s of all the department share the same sadistic views . It almost feels like they find pleasure in torturing students (i know its a bit extreme , but that is what most of the students feel ) . The HOD belts the teachers , the teachers belt (not literally) the students , and the students bear .
ATTENDANCE :- Oh boy , this is the hot topic here . The attendance rule is quite common in engineering colleges , but here its a bit next level . A student is supposed to maintain a 75 % attendance so that he does’nt get into trouble , simple right ? , Hell no . Students who think they can maintain a good attendance so that they would not attend college during end of semester to study are in for a big trouble as the hod will blackmail you to attend classes till the end by warning you that he will not let you attend lab externals .
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES :- You’ll have sports period once a week which will later be replaced by study hour because apparently the hod thinks engineering professionals are not supposed to play sports , but thankfully there is a sports day every year which the hod has no authority upon .
FESTS :- Fests here are great sometimes , but it has a lot of politics involved . There are around two fests every semester .
Campus :- Its a good looking campus on the outside until you step in . There is animal feces everywhere . The sewer is clogged most of the year , the smell is sometimes unbearable . But play-grounds are maintained well .
RULES :-GNIT is plagued by unnecessary rules . Uniform 3 days a week till fourth year which is quite ridiculous , the remaining days of the week you are supposed to wear formals . The PRINCIPLE and the HOD’s personally look into this uniform rule because they think it is more important than providing proper education. Students are not allowed to leave the college premises unless they have permission and the permission is pretty hard to get even in cases of emergency .
Placements :- There are mostly IT companies who come to recruit and only a few students from each department get placed (the figure is mostly a 2 digit number)which is way less than what they advertise . Mechanical companies are pretty rare .
Friends :- You’ll find great friends here , there are people here of every kind and they are the ones who’ll get you through the 4 years of engineering .
Conclusion ,
Get into this college only if you dont have any other option .
If you get in then make good friend and maintain good relation with your teachers.
Cheers !
