Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa Institute of Engineering and Technology, popularly known as GTB or GTBKIET, is a private college established in the year 1997 and is located in Malout, Punjab. Located on a massive area of 60 acres, GTBKIET is an affiliated college with GTB Gunnur Punjab Technical University Jalandhar. The institute provides four B.Tech courses such as Computer Science and Engineering , Mechanical Engineering , Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering. GTBKIET offers total student enrolment 310 and faculty member of 53 which gives a suitable engineering education.

GTBKIET is equipped with a wide spectrum of facilities that provide students the additional opportunity to develop during their studying process. Thus, the institute consists of well-equipped departmental laboratories to allow the students of college and school perform practical work and research activities in an efficient manner. A modern library has a collection of more than 27000 books and stated subscriptions to over 60 national and international journals, There are A.C conference hall and a reading hall for round the clock usage. The entire campus has Wi-Fi which to allow the students and staff to connect to any network or browse the internet via laptops and smart phones. A separate building being constructed for boys & girls hostels to cater to their needs for a comfortable stay, The cafeteria of 1200 seating capacity is running on Nestle India Ltd & Verka Milk Bar to provide hygienically prepared quality food. the cafeteria facilities, a gym, a medical centre, sports facilities, and seminars and presentations’ auditorium are also bonus features.

GTBKIET provides total 4 full time B.Tech programmes, all these programmes take four years to complete. These programmes cover most of the engineering disciplines and prepare and equip students for their respective fields. 

At GTBKIET, the admission procedure is set to be elaborate and also as objective as possible. As a general rule, the institute takes into consideration the performance of a candidate in any of the entrance examinations for B.Tech programme.
