Degree wise Admission Process
BA (Bachelor of Arts): Siddhinath Mahavidyalaya provides BA courses with different specializations. The general BA course has an intake capacity of 111 seats. For BA Honours courses, the college provides specializations in Bengali (69 seats), Sanskrit (69 seats), Education (69 seats), History (60 seats), English (60 seats), and Philosophy (49 seats). Admission to these courses is made on the basis of marks scored in the respective subjects in the 10+2 examination.
BSc (Bachelor of Science): The college offers BSc courses with various specializations. The general BSc course has an intake capacity of 38 seats. For BSc Honours, specializations are available in Geography (38 seats), Mathematics (27 seats), Physics (11 seats), and Chemistry (11 seats). Admission to BSc courses is generally on the basis of the performance of the candidate in science subjects in their 10+2 examination, giving special consideration to the subject of specialization.
