GVM College of Education for Girls, Sonipat was established in the year 2006 as one of the premier institutions for the development of future educators. This affiliated college in Haryana, India, is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council and approved by National Council for Teacher Education. A medium-sized campus of 1.25 acres provides an atmosphere that is conducive to learning and growth. It offers personalized care and quality education, with a total of 332 students and a faculty strength of 12. It presently offers two special courses in education exclusively for female students; hence, it is contributing to the women's empowerment in teaching services.

Other modern facilities provided within the college enhance learning among its students. It has well-equipped laboratories such as a science lab, home science lab, educational technology lab, language learning lab, and an ICT lab. The two full-time courses offered by GVM College of Education for Girls include Bachelor of Education, and Master of Education. Approved intake for the program of B.Ed is 200 seats while the approved intake for M.Ed program is 50 students.

GVM College of Education for Girls hereby decides that the admission procedure shall be strictly based on merit and shall be transparent. Admissions to the B.Ed. course shall be done strictly in accordance with the merit of the qualifying examination. The Course shall be decided by the marks obtained in the Qualifying Examination, and in the case of M.Ed., it is done either by the marks in the qualifying examination or by performance in an entrance test. The admission criteria may vary with the policies of the concerned state government, University, or the UT Administration.
