GVM Institute of Technology and Management, Sonipat, was established in the year 2002. Constituent affiliate college of Haryana, India this is. This very institution has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education and has curved a niche among technical institutions. The GVM Institute occupies a compact 1.5 acres of the campus offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs to as many as 552 diverse students. The institute boasts an effective student-to-teacher ratio, provided by a strength of 22 dedicated faculty members. GVM Institute runs four distinctly separate degree courses, covering diverse disciplines, making it abide by the changing demands of the contemporary job market.

The college is proud of a competent learning atmosphere supplemented with ultra-modern facilities. The campus consists of well-equipped laboratories offering experiential learning to the students, consequently leading to the development of sound practical skills as deep as theoretical knowledge. Hostel Accommodation: It provides a comfortable hostel accommodation for female students in three blocks, viz., 'Ojaswini Kunj', 'Tejswini Kunj' and 'Mansvini Kunj'. In each of these blocks, almost 475 residents are tried and provided a home away from home.

GVM Institute of Technology and Management offers a total of four full-time courses in various streams. These comprise two undergraduate programs, including BBA and BCA, and two postgraduate programs, including MBA and MCA. There are 60 seats each for the programs of MBA and MCA, respectively, for which approval has been taken, but nothing has been mentioned for the BBA and BCA programs. As already mentioned, all four courses are full-time and hence involve comprehensive education and training in chosen fields.

The admission procedure into the GVM Institute of Technology and Management differs for different programs. Admission to MCA has been made an entrance test followed by a personal interview.
