GVR and S College of Education is one among the colleges started during the year 2007. It is one of the renowned colleges aimed at developing future resources in the field of education. This is a co-educational institution located in Chandramouli Nagar, near GM Telecom Office, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, in a land area of 2 acres. The institution is affiliated college with approval from NCTE. The institute used to run one degree programme with a total student enrolment of 176, supported by a dedicated faculty. 

The GVR and S College of Education has provided several facilities that foster the learning process of the students. GVR and S College of Education currently offers only one full-time course, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Two-year programme with an intake capacity of 100 - this reflects the institute's commitment to quality education by ensuring manageable class strengths. Objective of B.Ed. programme is to prepare the prospective teachers with knowledge, skills, and practical experience poured upon them in education; required in their professional life. 

The admission process at GVR and S College of Education is based on merit, considering marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The institution follows an admission policy in accordance with the recommendations and guidelines of State Government/Union Territory Administration, and the affiliated University.
