Gyan Ganga College of Technology (GGCT), was founded in the year 2006. Located in the lap of Bargi Hills, It is a AICTE affiliated college that is spread over 5.112 acres of area. The narrowing down of the programme has made GGCT a member institution with a total of 1,110 students being enrolled for 12 cross interdisciplinary programmes across four degree programmes. The institute had a faculty composition of 105 members, which means it will be easy to have a better teacher-student ratio. GGCT emphasises technical education opening a flagship in Engineering and Management Studies that offer Computer Science, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science streams.

GGCT provides total educational courses through 12 full time B.Tech programmes, MBA and MCA for four diploma courses. The total approved intake for the institute is 1,110 in all programmes of study offered in the institute. Some popular courses are B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering – 180; MBA – 240; B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science – 60. It also has such focused areas of study as B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to meet market needs.

GGCT school admission policies follow a policy that focuses on a colour blind and merit basis admission process. As for the specific examinations’ details they are unknown but the college presumably takes into account the scores mentioned for the entrance tests for engineering and management courses. The institute is sensitive to diversity issues whereby 73 percent of the students are male while only 27 percent are females.
