Haji Md. Serafat Mondal Government Polytechnic, Birbhum was established in the year 2015, so it is, therefore, a fairly young technical institution in West Bengal, India. The government-aided polytechnic is an affiliated college with recognition by the All India Council for Technical Education, imparting diploma courses in various branches of engineering. It has an enrolment of 373 students and a faculty strength of 16, hence providing the right environment for young budding engineers.
