Predict admission chances in AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER & NIMHANS Campuses
The college is a single building with all the departments well managed. There are 2 hospital buildings in the same campus with all the modern technologies and learning atmosphere. The LTs are big enough with multiple projectors and mic system. Library is well managed ans has complete silence. There is big sports complex in campus with gym, basketball court, badminton court, foot ball court, cricket ground etc. hostels are good with mess. there is campus wifi facility.
I have done MBBS to become a doctor. Many professors are the ex faculties of DU and AIIMS. They are well versed in their subjects. The curriculum is same as all India. Hospital have modern technologies. After passing out you can immediately get job in Delhi itself with salary as good as 85000 or more
The placements are best for the fresh pass outs. Even though students are not much interested in placement as they wish to appear for PG entrances they can get jobs easily in Delhi govt setup itself which offers highest salary in India. the bet packages are up to 90 k/month. the privates offer salary around 60-65 k/month
I was the second batch and cost of course was 6 lakh/annum. Yes i do feel that its my moneys worth because unlike other medical colleges HIMSR is very well managed institute with focus on academics. The placement is good and rate of getting PG seat is also high.
the campus is best. it is in green belt of Delhi. you get the best of experiences there. Ragging is prohibited in campus. the groceries, dairies and all the essentials are available in campus itself. the staff is best and where can you be more safe than with doctors?
the college is worth it for your medical studies
The infrastructure is well constructed with everything on board a student can ask. The food is hygienic....don't have a very huge or special canteen with various varieties but the food is good. Wi-Fi and other facilities are available all throughout the campus.
The curriculum is regularly updated as per UGC and MCI so the syllabus is up to date as per the need of the time and the teachers r really professional and keep themselves and their teaching methods updated with focus on overall learning including practical skills.
Since it's a medical college, there's no such thing as placement. We get lot of clinical exposure in the hospital affiliated plus the urban and rural health centre. The other courses that include research are often collaberated with well known institutes for better learning experience.
Has quite a good sports complex with variety of sports and a very good cricket field.
Hello,
Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (HIMSR) has a minority quota for Muslim students as it is a Muslim minority institution. Admission under the minority quota typically requires meeting certain eligibility criteria, which can include both academic performance and NEET scores.
Eligibility Criteria: HIMSR usually has a specific cut-off for NEET scores under the minority quota. While your NEET score and rank may not be very competitive, minority quota seats often have slightly relaxed cut-off criteria.
Reservation Quota: Ensure you belong to the relevant minority community recognized by HIMSR. Proper documentation will be needed to avail of the minority quota benefits.
Counseling Process: Admissions are generally conducted through the centralized counseling process. Ensure you participate in the relevant counseling rounds and select HIMSR as a preferred choice.
Contacting HIMSR directly will provide the most accurate and current information regarding your eligibility and the chances of admission under the minority quota.
Hope it helps !
