Chaughaiya Group of Institutions Sri Kumareshwara Polytechnic Bellary was established in the year 1997, is one of the premier Technical Institution situated in Karnataka State of India – an abode of education. It has been accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) affiliated college that provides the various diploma programmes in engineering stream. Located in a 8 acre campus, the polytechnic claims an aggregate student strength of 568 including clerks and 66 faculty members.

This campus boasts of adequate facilities that can support and improve the education system. Libraries which are deposits of academic works contain more than twenty thousand volumes and 2661 names of titles for various sectors of engineering. From a physical perspective, the polytechnic has well equipped and modern laboratory facilities for each department in order to foster practical experience beside the theoretical lessons.
