Haneefa Kunju Memorial College of Education, is a famous college located at Kollam which was founded in 2006 to produce prospective teachers. This is a co-educational college situates in Umayanalloor, Kollam, Kerala with recognition from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). This college is located in a small area of 5 acres of land and is offering two programmes of specialisation with total intakes of 99 students. Having a staff strength of 8 well qualified teachers, the institute provides a small section to enroll students and interact individually with the teachers.

Ed. programme and a Diploma in Elementary Education, D.El.Ed., both of which are of two years duration together. Both programmes have been approved to take in 50 students as a way of ensuring that the college continues to provide quality education education through small class sizes. This concentrated manner enables the preparation of teachers-en mass of one-hundred across the two programmes with individualised attention and coverage.
