Harakhdeo Singh College of Education, Nalanda: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Harakhdeo Singh College of Education, Nalanda, came into existence in the year 2016. This affiliated college has been approved by NCTE and at present offers two major courses. With an enrolment of 30 and a faculty strength 9, of  the college ensures a favourable student-teacher ratio in the institution so that every student gets personalised attention and quality education.

Various facilities abound on the campus in support of its educational mission. A well-stocked library acts as a knowledge hub for students and faculty alike. Sports facilities and gyms are provided for physical fitness and recreation. The institution has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls that cater to the needs of students coming from outstations. The campus has an auditorium where events and seminars are held, enriching the academic ambience of the campus. Harakhdeo Singh College  has departmental laboratories to assist practical learning. Harakhdeo Singh College of Education runs two full-time regular courses in the Department of Education. B.Ed is one of the core teacher training programmes aiming to prepare secondary and higher secondary teachers. The D.El.Ed. programme has its main focus on training primary and upper primary teachers. These courses provide students with the opportunity to seek out all types of skill, knowledge, and practical experiences that will enable students to become competent professionals.

The admission process at Harakhdeo Singh College of Education considers the academic performance in the qualifying examinations; the admission process may also involve entrance tests or interviews. As a studied college of NCTE, the college follows all the norms and regulations prescribed by the council regarding admissions.
