The institute that was established in 1966 is Heeralal Ramniwas Post Graduate College, Sant Kabir Nagar. This is at the head of Uttar Pradesh, and being one amongst the frontline educational institutes, it has been rendering selfless service to the academic community for over five decades. The admission process for the various courses at Heeralal Ramniwas Post Graduate College is different. In almost all courses, admission is strictly based on merit, which is finalised according to the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. But for some courses like B.Ed, the state government and university's policies are followed. This may involve entrance examinations or other types of selection.
