HGEA College of Pharmacy, Bokaro: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

HGEA College of Pharmacy, situated in Bokaro was established in the year 2017 and is one among the emerging pharmacy college. This affiliated college is present in Chas, Bokaro, Jharkhand and has made works quickly and become a worthy member of pharmacy education. With the PCI approval the college is situated in a quite small area about 2.5 acres of land which is good for focusing on the college aspect. HGEA College of Pharmacy witnesses the faculty strength of 13 members, where the college admits more limited numbers of students to provide quality education in the field of pharmacy.

HGEA College of Pharmacy has various easily recognisable features and modern equipments that are aimed at boosting the learning activities of students. In the middle of these amenities is a functional library that boasts of having over two thousand reference and text books; and can order for two hundred and fifty additional book yearly to accommodate the latest advancement in the sciences of pharmaocology. Another fifteen percent include free e-resources since the library gives students easy access to online pharmaceutical journals with a culture of research and up-to-date knowledge. Addtionally, for practical learning, the college has set departmental laboratories that enable students to have practical experience in different fields of pharmacy. 

HGEA College of Pharmacy currently offers two full-time courses: a D.Pharma course which is a 2-year programme and a B.Pharma course which is a 4-year programme. The D.Pharma course at present has a regulation strength of sixty students while the B.Pharma programme the strength of which is yet to be decided. Such programmes are meant to equip learners with solid knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences to enable them work in the fast growing healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
