Keshna is the only horticulture college in the northern region of Maharashtra and is named as HH Sri Sri Murlidhara Swamiji College of Horticultre, Malegaon. This affiliated college was set up in 1952 and has been preparing the next generations of horticulturists for more than seven decades. Located at 50 acres of land, the college enables friendly environmental learning and research in horticulture. It has 141 students both local and international population and 9 faculty members and this enhance student-staff ratio in an effort to produce high standard college. Horticulture University being an institution of higher learning offers only one specialised degree programme, this is B.Sc. Horticulture (Hons).

The horticultural institution has equipped well equipped research laboratories to provide practical training and encourage research work. HH Sri Sri Murlidhara Swamiji College of Horticulture provides a right B.Sc. Horticulture (Hons) programme which is a four year full time course programme. This programme has an approved intake of 40 students to show the willingness of the college to have small classes to enhance quality delivery of programmes.
