Hi-Tech Institute of Technology, established in 2001, is a private engineering college based in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The institution is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere, and the NAAC assessed its accreditation as 'C' grade. HIT Aurangabad has a campus of 2.5 acres, offering four B.Tech programmes to 843 students with a faculty strength of 42. HIT Aurangabad has a varied student body composition: 80% male and 20% female. The institute has AICTE approval and is committed to the task of imparting quality education in streams of engineering like Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.

Hi-Tech Institute of Technology, Aurangabad has provided numerous modern facilities for providing a good learning experience for the students. On different disciplines such as Physics, Chemistry, and Engineering, there are well-equipped laboratories where practical learning of hands-on experience takes place. A well-stocked library with over 30,748 books, technical journals, and multimedia resources acts as the backbone for the students in their academic pursuits. Other facilities include a Computer Centre that offers facilities for internet access, printing, and scanning. There are separate boys' and girls' hostels with 24-hour security, medical aid, and dining facilities available for students. It has sports facilities, which encourage physical fitness and extracurricular participation. The cafeteria serves as the centre for meals and refreshments. The auditorium can organise many events, seminars, and cultural activities, thus making campus life lively.

The institute offers four full-time B.Tech programmes with a total intake capacity of 360 students. These include B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with 180 seats, B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with 60 seats, B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 60 seats, and B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 60 seats. 

The admission process to Hi-Tech Institute of Technology is majorly based on the scores in either the Joint Entrance Examination JEE Main or the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test MHT CET. These tests are mainly conducted to evaluate the candidate's potential in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics—a feat that aims to admit only those students who have a good basic foundation for pursuing engineering studies.
